Day 1
day 1 COLOMBO ARRIVAL - HABARANA
Arrive at Colombo airport and transfer to Habarana. Enroute visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Check-in and overnight at your hotel in Habarana.
Day 2
day 2 HABARANA - SIGIRIYA
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Rock Fortress in Sigiriya - a World Heritage Site. The 5th Century ‘Fortress in the Sky" boasts of a triple-moated defense and the huge rock rises almost to a sheer height of 500ft. Thereafter experience the thrill of a Jeep safari at the Minneriya National park. During the safari, you will be able to spot a herd of wild Asian elephants. Return to your hotel for some well-deserved rest. Overnight stay at your hotel in Habarana.
Day 3
day 3 HABARANA - KANDY
After breakfast, proceed to Kandy. Enroute visit Dambulla Rock Temple - a World Heritage Site. Also visit a Spice Garden in Matale. On arrival in Kandy, check-in at your hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Later in the evening visit the sacred Temple of the (Buddha's) Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show. Overnight at your hotel in Kandy.
Day 4
day 4 KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA
Breakfast at hotel. Later transfer to Peradeniya station to take a quaint train ride through mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations. Arrive at Nanu Oya station and proceed to tour a tea plantation and tea factory. Later check-in and overnight at your hotel in cool Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5
day 5 NUWARA ELIYA - COLOMBO
After breakfast proceed to Colombo via Kitulgala where the famous "Bridge on the River Kwai" film was partly shot. The scenic route will allow you to observe waterfalls Enroute (seasonal). Check-in at your hotel in Colombo for overnight stay.
Day 6
day 6 COLOMBO SIGHTSEEING
Breakfast to hotel, followed by a city tour of Colombo. See the old Parliament, the residential areas and the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), a Hindu Kovil, a Buddhist Temple and visit the Fort Bazaar. After the tour, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7
day 7 COLOMBO TO DUBAI BY FLIGHT
After breakfast, depending on the flight timing, transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Dubai. Arrival at Dubai International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure in this modern & bustling oasis. Overnight at your hotel in Dubai.
Day 8
day 8 DUBAI - DESERT SAFARI
Breakfast at hotel. Later in the day, proceed for desert safari in a 4X4. The desert safari includes, dune bashing, camel ride, photo shoot opportunity at sunset point , barbeque dinner, shisha (a local intoxicant) and belly dance performance at the camp. After dinner, return to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Dubai.
Day 9
day 9 DUBAI - BURJ KHALIFA
Breakfast at hotel. Today you visit the Burj Khalifa - currently the tallest building in the world). You take the elevator till 124 floor - the best place to watch the city's skyline. Evening at leisure - you can head for shopping in one of the many glitzy shopping malls in the city. Overnight at your hotel in Dubai.
Day 10
day 10 DUBAI DEPARTURE
After breakfast, depending on your flight time, transfer to the airport to catch you flight back home.
