day 1 Arrive Tokyo - Transfer to hotel
Arrive at Tokyo International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is free at leisure, allowing you to relax after your journey or explore the city’s iconic attractions, shopping districts, and local cuisine at your own pace.
Day 2
day 2 Tokyo City tour With Shibuya Crossing & iconic Senso-ji Temple visit
After breakfast, meet your guide at the designated meeting point to begin a guided sightseeing tour of Tokyo, showcasing the city’s unique blend of ancient traditions and cutting-edge modern life. Enjoy a relaxed, well-paced exploration alongside an expert local guide.
Begin in Shibuya, home to the world-famous scramble crossing and lively shopping streets, before visiting the tranquil Meiji Shrine, a serene oasis set within lush forested grounds. Continue to Asakusa, Tokyo’s historic heart, to explore Senso-ji Temple and stroll along Nakamise Shopping Street, lined with traditional snacks and souvenirs.
Experience Tokyo’s futuristic side as you pass through Shinjuku and Ginza, known for striking architecture, neon-lit streets, and upscale boutiques. Depending on your interests and time, you may also visit the vibrant Tsukiji Fish Market or enjoy a peaceful walk through the Imperial Palace Gardens.
Day 3
day 3 Mt. Fuji, Hakone, Lake Ashi Cruise and Bullet Train
After breakfast, set out on an excursion to Mt. Fuji, Japan’s highest peak and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach with onboard Wi-Fi to the 5th Station of Mt. Fuji, located around 2,000 metres above sea level, where you can enjoy stunning natural scenery and visit a sacred Shinto shrine. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the visit will be adjusted to the 4th Station or an alternative scenic spot such as Oshino Hakkai.
Enjoy a Japanese-style buffet lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients while taking in spectacular views of Mt. Fuji.
In the afternoon, continue to the Hakone region for a scenic ropeway ride, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and, weather permitting, Mt. Fuji itself. Arrive at Lake Ashi and relax on a picturesque cruise across the caldera lake, surrounded by beautiful volcanic landscapes.
The tour concludes with a transfer to Odawara Station, where you will board the iconic Shinkansen bullet train for a thrilling high-speed journey back to Tokyo.
Day 4
day 4 Bullet Train from Tokyo to Kyoto and Bike or Walking tour & Tea Ceremony
After breakfast, transfer to the station to board the Shinkansen bullet train for a smooth and scenic journey from Tokyo to Kyoto. On arrival, check-in to your hotel before beginning your cultural exploration.
Later, enjoy a guided cycling or walking tour along the tranquil Kamo River, offering a refreshing perspective of Kyoto’s calm and timeless charm. Begin in the historic Gion district with a visit to Kennin-ji Temple, where you’ll gain insights into Geisha traditions and Zen culture, while admiring the elegant rock garden.
Cycle or Walk through atmospheric traditional streets and stop for a Japanese-style tea house for a tea ceremony. Continue to Nanzen-ji Temple, one of Kyoto’s most important Zen sites, as your guide shares stories of the city’s spiritual heritage. Enjoy local flavours including soba dishes and matcha desserts at a traditional Japanese house.
Conclude the experience with a leisurely ride or walk along the river, soaking in Kyoto’s serene scenery and relaxed local life.
Day 5
day 5 Kyoto Icons & Culture
After breakfast, explore Kyoto & surroundings with an English-speaking guide and comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Skip the hassle of public transport while your guide shares local insights, stories, and crowd-avoidance tips. Visit highlights such as Fushimi Inari Shrine, Nara Deer park, Kiyomizu-dera, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) iconic temples and scenic viewpoints to hidden local streets and cultural experiences.
Day 6
day 6 Hiroshima & Miyajima Island Tour with Kyoto Hotel Pickup and Osaka Hotel Drop-Off
After breakfast an early hotel pick-up in Kyoto, travel comfortably by a Van with your English-speaking guide toward Hiroshima. Begin with a visit to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, including the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Museum, offering powerful insight into the city’s history and resilience.
Continue onward to Miyajima Island, reached by a scenic ferry/boat crossing across Hiroshima Bay. Explore the island’s tranquil atmosphere and visit the iconic Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its “floating” torii gate rising from the sea. Enjoy time to stroll the island, take photos, and experience its natural beauty and traditional charm.
In the late afternoon, continue your journey toward Osaka, arriving in the evening with a hotel drop-off, completing a seamless city-to-city sightseeing day with a comfortable transfer to Osaka without having to manage luggage.
