day 1 Quito Arrival Day
Quito - the capital of Ecuador, is a treasure trove of history and culture. Situated on the equator in a valley at the foothills of the Pichincha volcano in Ecuadorian Andes, Quito is a UNESCO World Heritage Site Depending on arrival time, you can spend your day exploring the old town of Quito & the surrounding area. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2
day 2 Mindo Cloud Forest Day Trip
Breakfast at hotel , Today head to Mindo Cloud Forest in this tour you will get stunning views of the Andes Mountains as you drive north-west to the unique Hummingbird Garden. See 10 to 20 different species of hummingbirds, depending on the season or time of the day, and try local tropical fruits.
Take a 1-hour walk into the cloud forest to admire the diverse flora and fauna up close. Look for endemic species of plants and animals found nowhere else on earth as you encounter a series of beautiful streams and waterfalls.
Reach the protected Mindo Cloud Forest Reserve to experience the astonishing beauty of one of the highest biodiverse sites in the world. Avail of all the activities at your own expense, such as a zip line across the forest canopy, or rappelling down rocks.
Day 3
day 3 Quito - Galapagos Flight
Breakfast at hotel, later checkout from hotel , you will be transferred to airport to catch Galapagos flight , upon arrival you will be transferred to hotel
Day 4
day 4 Charles Darwin Station & Tortuga Bay Beach and Ferry To San Cristobal Island
Breakfast at hotel then Pick up from your hotel. You will take a small road 2,500 meters long up to the access to Tortuga Bay. Enjoy a 2-hours hike (both ways) up to this beautiful beach which is perfectly preserved, and with the presence of wild animals such as iguanas, beach crabs. Only swim in the mangrove that is separated from the beach.
Tortuga Bay is a white sand beach located on the south coast of the island of Santa Cruz. After lunch, you will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station where you will have the opportunity to learn about Galapagos conservation in action. Over 200 scientists and volunteers are involved with research and conservation efforts here. Return to your hotel. After that head to ferry port to take ferry for San Cristobal Island , upon arrival head to Hotel.
Day 5
day 5 Tour Lobos Island
After breakfast , Depart from San Cristobal on a boat ride to Lobos Island. Land tour with encounters with sea lions, frigates, and marine iguanas. Underwater exploration with snorkeling, potentially seeing stingrays and sea turtles. Enjoy a filling lunch, Relax on the island's beaches. Return to San Cristobal.
Day 6
day 6 Snorkeling & Wildlife Tour
Post breakfast Meet your guide at 7:30 am at Puerto Baquerizo and get ready for 2-hour navigation towards your Kicker Rick Galapagos snorkeling adventure. The day tour will have two visiting sites:
The first one will be the underwater of the Kicker Rock lava formations. This is one of the most outstanding snorkeling sites in the Galapagos. On the surface, you may catch sight of some of the many birds inhabiting the towers emerging from the ocean floor. You can spot Nazca boobies, blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, and tropicbirds.
Be ready to swim alongside the most iconic Galapagos wildlife. Hammerheads, sea turtles, Galapagos sharks inhabit the area. The walls are connected below the surface through a 60ft deep channel running between them. Depending on the day, the tour will end or begin with a visit to Cerro Tijeretas. You will get ready to swim and snorkel once again! Another option is a deserted beach (either Manglesito or Puerto Grande) to observe wildlife and relax in the pristine sand. A box lunch will be served in the boat as these parts of the islands are inhabited.
Day 7
day 7 Galapagos (San Cristobal) - Guayaquil
After Breakfast ,checkout from Hotel and head to Airport to catch the flight for Guayaquil, upon arrival , you will be transferred to hotel.
Day 8
day 8 Guayaquil Departure
Breakfast at hotel, Check out from hotel, you will be transferred to airport for a flight back.
