    Day 1

    day 1 Arrive in Cochin

    You are welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Cochin. Start your exploration of Kerala in the afternoon. Your tour begins from Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays and Saturdays). It contains beautiful Belgian glass chandeliers and paved with painted tiles from China. Later visit the Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays) with its wonderful murals depicting the entire story of the Ramayana. Then visit St. Francis Church, established by the Portuguese Franciscan friars in 1503. Vasco Da Gama was buried in the courtyard of this European church, one of the first built in India. Visit the Chinese fishing nets, more than a century old and still in use.

    Day 2

    day 2 Cochin - Munnar

    After Breakfast, Proceed to Munnar, South India’s tea growing region. Munnar sits 1,600m above sea level is a hill station which was once the summer resorts of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Munnar is one of the most sought-after honeymoon destinations.
    Your driver will take you through rubber and pineapple cultivations while on your way to the hotel in Munnar.

    day 3 Munnar

    After Breakfast ,You are driven to a tea estate, wear tea harvesting gear and proceed on to harvest tea leaves along with the work force; bring it to the factory where you get the leaves weighed first.
    Witness and hear about the remaining parts of tea leaves processing.
    Take home a pack of freshly processed tea powder as souvenir.

    Day 4

    day 4 Munnar – Madurai

    After Breakfast, proceed to Madurai, an animated city full of pilgrims and vendors. Madurai is one of the oldest South Indian cities and has been a center of learning and pilgrimage. It is famous for Meenakshi temple with its towering gopurams and rare sculptures.
    Proceed to sightseeing tour of Madurai – The primary interest is the Meenakshi Temple, where Dravidian temple architecture may be at its best. Its hall of a thousand pillars is fabulous and is filled with worshippers at all hours of the day. Return to the hotel after you witnessed “Palli Arai” ceremony at the temple.

    day 5 Madurai – Thekkady

    After breakfast , we head towards Thekkady, en-route stop to visit an elephant farm and experience feeding, bathing baby elephants.
    Evening, enjoy a Kathakali Dance, a traditional dance form performed by various artists. The dancers dressed in colorful and elaborate costumes, their faces painted to depict various characters perform Indian epics such as Ramayana & Mahabharata. This dance has a lot of facial expressions and brisk, yet articulate body movements.

    Day 6

    day 6 Thekkady - Wild Life safari & Bamboo rafting

    After Breakfast, you will have a chance to see more than 60 species of wild animals found here which include Asian Elephant, Bengal Tiger, Indian Bison, Sambar Deer, Indian Wild Dog, Leopard, Barking Deer and the Smooth-Coated Otter, besides 265 bird species, reptiles and amphibians on a boat safari at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
    Bamboo rafting in the evening to see the spice garden and trek accompanied by a naturalist. The tour is an opportunity to know more about different types of spices, coffee, coco plantations in Kerala.

    Day 7

    day 7 Thekkady – Alleppey (Backwater cruise).

    You are driven to Alleppey, embark one of the beautifully designed houseboats and cruise on the backwater of Kerala. Relax and have good time until next morning. The cook and other staff will make sure that you are well taken care, while serving you delicious Kerala cuisine for lunch, dinner, and breakfast. You can ask for a stop at a Temple by the Backwaters for the evening sunset musical prayers.

    day 8 Alleppey – Marari beach

    After breakfast, Disembark from your houseboat and proceed to Marari. Check into your resort on the Malabar Coast by Arabian Sea. You have the option to consult the doctor in the resort for Ayurveda

    After Breakfast, the day is at leisure for you to sun bask by the pool side or on the beach.
